How To Transfer From San Francisco State Univeristy To San Jose Sate University?
Hey, I will be attending San Francisco state university as a freshmen this fall and I really want to transfer to San jose State university. I was wondering if anyone new any information or steps to transfer from state to state colleges. Do I need certain grades, classes, credits? I was wondering how long it would take? A semester? a Year? 2 years? thanks for your help!

you need to make sure that you have at least 60 units of college course work from any college. sjsu doesnt take lower division transfers(students less than 60 units) they only take junior level transfers. same with sfsu, due to budget cuts and more factors. you also must be in good standing from your previous college(able to be a student again). since both of those CSUs participate in the DARS program, your course equivalency is ok.
getting to 60 units should take no more than 2 years IF you take your studies seriously, that is, if you take at least 15-19 units each semester qith summer sessions and not goof off. lots of incoming freshmen unually take 12 units since they aren’t used to the course loads and may take more than the typical 4 years to graduate.
